A Message From The Sheriff |

The position of Iberia Parish Sheriff comes with great responsibilities. I do not think that being Sheriff is just a job; I consider it to be devotion. When I was sworn in as Sheriff on July 1, 2008, I made a promise to the public that I would bring this Sheriff's Office up to the standards that the citizens of Iberia Parish expect. There have been changes and additions to the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office during my tenure. I implemented these changes with the primary goal of protecting the parish's most valuable resource, its people.
On July 1, 2012 I will be sworn in as Sheriff for a second term. As Sheriff, I believe that this office has drastically improved since I first took office. This does not mean the changes and improvements will stop. My many years in law enforcement have taught me that criminals are constantly adapting and altering their tactics. Therefore, I am committed to ensuring the progress of the Iberia Parish Sheriff's Office and keeping Iberia Parish a safe place to live.
