It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as Sheriff of Iberia Parish. Although it is a job that is faced with many challenges, I look forward to those challenges each day. Having been in law enforcement over 40 years, it is the life I love. Hard work and good fortune have led me to positions all across the state of Louisiana including Captain of Troop I for the Louisiana State Police.
I believe the most satisfying reward of being Sheriff is the ability to help people. My primary goal is to build this department into the most efficient and professional organization of its kind. My commitment to the citizens of Iberia Parish is to fight crime and provide safer neighborhoods. I want our citizens to live a quality of life that is free from intimidation and fear of crime.
