Report Crimimal Activity

TO REPORT A CRIME IN PROGRESS – DIAL 911!

Assistance from the community plays a major part in helping The Iberia Parish Sheriff Department fight crime. There are a number of ways you can pass on details about criminal activity to the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office.

For crimes not in progress you can:

Call the Community Hotline – Call 369-3711 – An officer is there to assist you 24-hours a day. Provide as much information as possible because even the smallest detail can make a difference.

Visit the Patrol Center – The Patrol Center is located at the intersection of Main and Bank St. in New Iberia. Officers are available 24-hours a day to address your concerns.

Online Reporting – This form will allow you to report any criminal activity which you feel should be investigated. All information on the form is optional and you can remain completely anonymous.

It is a violation of Louisiana law to knowingly and falsely report a crime.

Reporting Drug Activity – Learn effective ways to recognize drug activity in your neighborhood.

There is no better substitute than the help of an alert public. If you see, or think you saw, any of our most wanted persons listed, please call us immediately at (337) 364-1711 and ask for a detective, or contact us by e-mail. Do not attempt to apprehend a fugitive yourself!
