Neighborhood Watch is a crime prevention program that enlists the active participation of citizens in cooperation with law enforcement to reduce crime in their communities.

Neighborhood Watch involves:

> Neighbors getting to know each other and working together in a program of mutual assistance;
> Citizens being trained to recognize and report suspicious activities in their neighborhoods; and,
> Implementation of crime prevention techniques such as home security, and operation identification.

Our Neighborhood Watch Program teaches neighbors how to watch out for each others’ property, possessions and safety. For more information on the neighborhood watch program or how you can set up a watch in your neighborhood, contact the Iberia Parish Sheriff’s Office at 359-8671 or email us.
